União de Refugiados em Portugal (UREP) is a refugee-led NGO founded in 2013 that works to promote the rights, inclusion, and integration of refugees in Portugal. Based in Loures, UREP supports newcomers through services ranging from intercultural mediation and documentation assistance to housing, employment, education, and social support. By partnering with local institutions and drawing on lived experience, UREP strengthens refugee voices and fosters active participation in Portuguese society.
