African Solidarity for Action (ASFA International e.V)
ASFA International e.V. is a non-governmental organization based in Hamburg, Germany. Its members come from diverse backgrounds and work across demographic groups and borders. The association currently consists of 18 members, some of whom migrated from Gambia to Germany and have since made Hamburg their home.
With strong ties to both the Senegambia region and local communities in Hamburg, ASFA International is uniquely positioned to understand the needs and challenges on both sides. This dual perspective drives the organization’s mission: to actively address the root causes of migration in their countries of origin while also empowering diaspora communities in Germany, particularly through youth development and community-based initiatives.
