VOICIFY is the first-ever European self-representative structure for organisations led by young people with lived migration experiences. We strengthen the capacities of our member organisations and advocate for their rights and interests at the European and international levels.
Through #PartofEurope report, we are building an inclusive Europe where YREMASUD โ Young Refugees, Exiled, Migrants, Asylum Seekers and Undocumented youth โ can actively shape the policies that affect their lives.
๐ The First EU-Wide Consultation
In 2021, VOICIFY launched the first European consultation of YREMASUD-led organisations, engaging youth-led groups from across Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Malta, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden.
This historic initiative โ documented in #PartofEurope โ identified the key barriers preventing young people with lived migration experiences from fully participating in political and civic life.
It also offered concrete policy recommendations to ensure meaningful inclusion, equal partnership, and recognition of YREMASUD as an essential part of European civil society.
The message was clear: โWe are part of Europe โ not guests, but active contributors to its democratic and social life.โ
๐ Part of Europe โ Renewed (2025)
Four years later, #PartofEurope Report (2025) builds on the findings of the first consultation.
This new phase moves from recognition to transformation: amplifying youth-led advocacy, deepening cooperation with institutions, and reinforcing the power of self-representation.
V2 focuses on:
- Expanding the network of YREMASUD-led organisations across Europe;
- Promoting co-created policymaking between youth and institutions;
- Ensuring intersectional inclusion of women, LGBTQI+ youth, and young people with disabilities;
- Building long-term structures of representation that go beyond consultation to shared power.
โ A Collective Movement Forward
Part of Europe is not just a report โ itโs a living movement.
It redefines who gets to participate in Europeโs democracy and reminds policymakers that inclusion is not a favour โ itโs a democratic necessity.
Through this ongoing process, VOICIFY and its members continue to advocate for a Europe where young people with lived migration experiences are not spoken about, but spoken with โ as equals, decision-makers, and citizens of change.
